Ways to eat corn thins
corn thins are 23 calories each so are absolutely great for when you’re restricting. However, they’re quite bland on their own so here are three ideas you could try:
Left: Chocolate Peach (58kcal)
ingredients:
- 1 corn thin (23kcal)
- 2 slices peach (6kcal)
- 5g melted dark chocolate (mine was 29kcal)
Method
This is probably pretty self explanatory, melt your chocolate in the microwave in a small mug then spread on corn thin. Cut your peach slices up and place on chocolate, drizzle any remaining chocolate you may have on top.
Note, you could use any other fruit if you don’t have/don’t feel like peaches, chocolate goes great with all fruits.
Right:Cheesy Tomato (55kcal)
ingredients:
- 1 corn thin (23kcal)
- 2 slices tomato (6 kcal)
- 1 Tbsp grated cheese (26kcal)
- Salt and pepper to taste (0kcal)
Method
put your cheese and tomato on corn thin, sprinkle with salt and pepper than cook in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time until the cheese has melted. Be careful not to overcook as the corn thin might go soggy.
Back: Salad (66.3kcal)
ingredients
- 1 corn thin (23kcal)
- 1/3 leaf lettuce (0.3kcal)
- 1 slice tomato (3kcal)
- 1 ring bellpepper (2kcal)
- 1 tsp grated carrot (1kcal)
- 1/3 slice of shaved ham (14kcal)
- 1 tsp tomato relish (6kcal)
- 1 tsp mayonnaise (17kcal)
Method
spread tomato relish on corn thin then place all toppings on and a squirt of mayonnaise. My measurements aren’t exact and are just estimates, there’s really no need for you to measure anything, just eyeball it :)
